It's been years since I last played the original NFS:HP when my brother had it and hell it got me hooked so hard its I think 150+ hours?
It's unfortunate that the other cars didn't made into this game due to licensing issues but the new cars here are good enough.
It's been a fantastic game and one of the first games I've been introduced and how I'm able to visit the world of cars.

With the modern state of racing games where you always need to be online and sign-in each week/day just to get the next shiny thing or you will feel FOMO this gem feels like a breath of fresh air. This is pretty much an old-school racing game where you need to put effort to learn each corner, how handling works, how drifting works and use it for your own benefit to beat the best time each time. Handling feels a bit "too" stiff like each car even the super cars could feel like it made out of cast iron. In this regard Rivals has a better and more "airy" handling. Overall this an amazing racing game where you get a great sense of speed and nice rivalry between cops and racers.

Still the same game I remembered playing 15 years ago but looks and sounds better, and on sale it’s a no brainer, that said the voice for the Porsche Carrera pronounces Le Mans with the n and s which drives me crazy to this day 😂

The Best Arcade Racing Game I've Ever played. Has the best drifting Physics by far, challenging gameplay/track mechanics & thanks to the Most Wanted & Arm's Race game modes it makes it an absolute joy to play with my close friends as we held 5-6 hours LAN sessions till 4 AM, the longest of any game we played. I've 100% the racer side Reminded me of the good old days as it replicated that childlike wonder of grinding out SSX Tricky & Underground 2 as a 6 year old.

Can't recommend in current state.
Games awesome, so that's a YES....but:
Games also riddled with third party software bs, where I had to literally disable in game overlays and sign into EA account, and all this nonsense running BUT the game.
I even heard the game intro as it started and was forced exited to force me to login, like $#&@ off and let me play the game I paid you for EA!

This game lets me live out my fantasy of being both a street racer and a legally overpowered cop with a license to ruin someone’s day at 415 km/h. The remaster looks clean, plays smooth, the only women i listen about bragging about the cars till the end on is my one of the favourite, and the takedowns is Still deliciously brutal. It’s less about realism and more about pure, high speed run and I’m here for it. 100 percent recommended and definitely would spike strip my best friend again.

Got this on sale for $4. Totally worth that price. Looks and runs amazing on steam deck, once you get past the shitty EA launcher. Pretty fun racing, but it’s just overall extremely bland. It’s missing any sort of identity, the UI is boring, and the soundtrack is obnoxious. I turned the music all the way down and I’m having a much better time.
Also, the difficulty can be pretty unforgiving. One mistake, you’re done. Restart the race. Throw in lots of rubber-banding.
Do not buy it at full price.

My favorite game in NFS series.
• U can play offline and online
The most annoying only is that this sht requires EA Play and i cant play offline when i didnt connect to EA Play to launch this game 😭🙏

Not a Remaster. Just a re-release with all the DLC packaged together.
A lot of padding and filler to make up for how on the rails and monotonous it is while expanding the play time out for the sake of it. Makes it extremely grindy. Has even heavier online focus this go around. For a game nobody plays online. Still has the same issues and bugs as the old game. Rapid Response is ridiculous. The helo support either isn't helpful or actively hits you instead. Roadblocks are pretty useless. AI is still tanky and stupid in pursuits. Rubber-banding can get excessive at times when you're doing to well in a race. Traffic and their spawns are still broken. The difficulty spread is out of balance. Some early races are impossible while some later ones are laughably easy. Some vehicles like the One - 77 still handle like a mobility scooter while some vintage cars like the 911 Turbo handle way too well. Etc. Etc.
I want to play a game and enjoy it. Not fight all it's problems the whole time. The better graphics and shorter list of music can't carry this game far enough I'm afraid.

Very nice, cop chases can be intense. Just like the original, it's also really pretty. Unlike most other NFS games, there is no story here, but I would rather have no story than a bad story. More of a focus was put on gameplay as can be seen with the variety of modes available. Off the bat, it has worked with my Xbox Controller, no issues. Bonus points for Jane Perry being in this, my favorite voice actress, who I discovered in the Hitman series.
