They pretty much NEVER add free content, the amount of DLC for this game is just INSANE.

The Khan DLC jeep has no right to be as overpowered as it is since it's only a scout car but yet here I am towing sunken, bogged utes and trucks out of swamps easy as piss...
The DLC's are OP as hell in this game, especially the jeep but it's a darn sight better than using those horrendous starting trucks, utterly useless until you do a multitude of upgrades to them but given the fact they all move slow as molasses it will most likely take you a gazillion hours to gain levels which is why I have spent majority of my hours in the scout jeep driving to watchtowers to gain XP and uncover the map but in comparison to what the base game gives you it feels very imbalanced.
DLC advantages aside I do still suggest buying the jeep, uncovering the map and selling any starter vehicles you find so you can actually afford a half decent truck to haul cargo because those starting ones ain't gonna do squat, hell do so much as *SHOW* these things the mud and they become bogged, absolutely the sorriest excuse for a truck and an utter piss take if you ask me.
I imagine anyone reading this review would wonder why I'm giving a positive rating and my answer is because the devs have absolutely nailed the feeling of offroading and hauling yourself through various terrain in this game even on keyboard it feels satisfying, granted perhaps not the most optimal choice of control for a game of this genre but it certainly works.
The graphics are also beautiful so that is another positive.
I have really enjoyed just offroading around the starter map so far and hopefully I'm patient enough to reach the snow.
I will now conclude by saying yes, I do think this game is fun and yes they have nailed the driving and the immersion of the world when traversing around these harsh outdoor environments but I won't ignore the fact that majority of the fun comes from DLC which is honestly a shame but still a good game.

Such a great game. Solid progression always keeps you doing one more thing. Truck upgrades and unlocks feel meaningful. Tons of content, crossplay between all platforms, the game and DLC are constantly on sale. What more can you want?

I'm ADHD and have high function autism sorry for the misspelled words.
now to get to the point for me this game is really good for my taste of games. It may not be the best for every one but I find my self going back to the game every now and then. the best part about the game I like is the community behind the game.
first the modding community is always adding new stuff for the game.
second is the game is conssistantly being updated for new contents.
To be honest the game is massive with multiple maps. My favorite part of the game it lets you play the game how you want. Freedom of choice i call it. Even with the 1000+ hours i have on my belt still find my self going back for more. I would like to thank the developers for the game.

The best off-roading truck sim out there even in 2025. The gameplay is engaging graphics are among the best in the genre and there is enough content to keep you hooked for some time. The difficulty is just enough to be challenging without being frustrating. Driving / cruising / trucking fans must try this.

This game is a tedious chore and the sense of accomplishment you gain from actually completing a task is minimal. I feel like a battered wife, I know this relationship is harmful for me but I refuse to stay away if for no other reason than because I don't want to feel like I gave up and let the game beat me.
