As the leader of a company specialized in restoring sites devastated by natural disasters, use your construction machinery to restart the local industry. Clear debris and faulty equipment, rebuild roads and bridges damaged by weather, and much more!

You run a disaster recovery company, specialized in restoring sites devastated by natural disasters. Numerous tasks await you and your heavy machinery as you work to restart the local industry: clearing debris, replacing faulty equipment, rebuilding roads and bridges damaged by bad weather, deploying resource convoys to produce new reconstruction materials, and much more!

Experience a new generation of simulation with the brand new engine developed by Saber Interactive, the creators of MudRunner and SnowRunner. Handle each object with realistic physics, accounting for their mass and size. Interact with elements like sand, wood, and asphalt. Reshape the terrain and ease the movement of your vehicles thanks to your newly-built roads.

Each machine has its own behavior. Use your bulldozer to clear obstructions, your heavy transporter to carry multiple vehicles, or your fixed or gantry cranes to lift containers and equipment. Reconnect a factory to the power grid with your cable layer, lay down hot asphalt with your paver, and flatten it with your roller to create your own roads. Unlock over 40 vehicles as you progress through the story-driven campaign. Visit your garage to customize your machines with your company’s logo and repaint them with your personalized colors.

Disasters have caused chaos, cutting off access to many affected areas. You are the last hope to brave these extreme conditions. Whether in the mountains, the heart of the desert, or by the sea, your expertise is needed around the globe! Explore 8 unique maps, each 4 km², with their own biomes and buildings. Choose your itinerary through abandoned factories, submerged dams, or out-of-service solar fields. Search every corner to achieve your goals, and secure new contracts to earn additional funds and XP.

Collect remnants of wood, steel, and cement and transform them into components in your recycling plants, every piece of debris can be used for reconstruction! Supply factories and sand quarries to produce resources in bulk. As the operations manager, guide your transport trucks by plotting their routes on the map and ensure no obstacles block their way!

The world of RoadCraft offers a multitude of activities. Why not complete them with your friends? Set up a co-op session for up to 4 players. Divide tasks or focus together on a single objective. Combine your strengths and ingenuity to find solutions, even the most unexpected ones.

Ok, so I've seen a lot of confusion in the reviews - it is not Snowrunner, it is not Expeditions. This game doesn't focus so much on simulating the big trucks and offroad experience. This is it's own thing focusing rather on the aspect of completing objectives and removing the effects of natural disasters. The fuel consumption and most of the damage model that you've probably known in Snowrunner doesn't exist here. There's no vehicle customization as well.
As much as it seemed strange for me at the beginning, I quickly learned that this would quickly make the game tedious. Snowrunner was focusing on a small scale tasks that sometimes required several vehicles. Here you will engage in multi-vehicle operations at all times. Now imagine constantly needing to refuel or repair your vehicles. It would be a nightmare.
But it would be cool if the devs considered adding option to switch these things on if someone is masochist :D

this is roadcraft a game about road construction so pleace stop giving it negative review after playing it for half an hour and give it a chance, its a great game and after the first map wich any normal person it would take about an hour u would relice how amazing this game really is the road and sand physics are great and people complaining about controls not beeing like in snowrunner go to settings and swap to legacy and sit dont and enjoy the game and dont post bad rewies unless u have something to actually complain about instead of just going its not snowrunner 2.0 ;( thats all.

So far I've played only the first four hours, but I cannot understand most of the criticism the game is receiving. People are pointing out that it's "easy" because there is no damage model and no fuel, only automatic gear shifting and no way to turn off the engine.
In my opinion all of those are not features this game wants to focus on anyway. The game is and always was advertised as a game about crafting roads, about fixing in infrastructure network after natural desasters - and that is exactly what it's doing. It is incredibly satisfying to almost get stuck in a muddy ditch with your scout SUV, realizing that there's no way the automated supply trucks are gonna make it past this ditch, then filling up the ditch with sand and using a bulldozer to flatten that sand and pave a rudimentary road.
The terraforming in this very physicalized optically gorgeous maps is top notch. The vehicles sound gorgeous - sitting in one of the stationary cranes to move containers out of the way and switching to first person the sound also changes - and boy does it not disappoint.
The game is slow and deliberate, yes - because you're driving heavy machinery - and that is slow and tedious work at times. But it is ever so satisfying. I cannot wait to unlock asphalt pavers and lumbering toys to fix what mother nature decided to destroy.
Is Roadcraft a "difficult" game? No, it most definitely is not. Is Roadcraft an engaging experience about building, terraforming, and playing with your truck toys in a massive, gorgeous looking world? Oh frick yeah! And if you never grew out of the "I wanna play with diggers" phase like I did but are allergic to getting dirty and doing manual labour, then Roadcraft is the next best thing!

Roadcraft is not trying to be Snowrunner and it appeals to a different audience. Here are simple pros and cons to help you make your own decision.
PROS
-Graphics (Everything is a lot more detailed than in Snowrunner)
-Road building (Pouring sand, flattening it and laying asphalt on top is fun)
-Simple (It doesn't need a lot of time investment and is very straightforward)
-Arcade (Makes it a bit more relaxing when you don't have to worry about running out of gas etc.)
-Convoys (They bring life, making the world feel more alive)
CONS
-UI (The UI feels like it's from a mobile game)
-Arcade (The lack of certain game mechanics and simulation depth make it feel like a toy game)
-Linear (So far it doesn't feel like an open sandbox, but rather a game where you do missions in a specific order. Maybe it opens up later down the line?)
-No vehicle customization (You can change the color only)
So, who is Roadcraft for?
It's not for people who enjoy a deep driving simulation with detailed gameplay mechanics and great truck customization. It's for people who enjoy a more relaxed and simple experience that doesn't require as much time.
I fall in the first category, but that doesn't mean you can't like it. :)

Imagine making an absolute awesome off road construction sim, and then everyone leaving reviews complaining about how it’s not the same game you already made 5 years ago. Roadcraft is not Snowrunner. It’s a different genre entirely, and that’s completely okay because it’s an awesome game in its own right. It focuses more on construction and logistics than off roading, but it does it well, and it’s incredibly enjoyable. And it runs well! If you played with Tonka trucks in a sandbox as a kid, you’ll love this game.

Many of the negative reviews here complain about things like the missing fuel consumption, the lack of a damage model, and other features that were present in SnowRunner and MudRunner. However, all of these aspects were already clear in the demo and other sources. People should take the time to inform themselves before buying, instead of complaining afterward.
This is not a SnowRunner or MudRunner game—it's a standalone experience with its own direction. If you're expecting another MudRunner clone, it's better not to buy it just to leave a negative review.
Personally, I think the game is very well made, and I can definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn’t need all the features from the other games.

Completed the tutorial map and enjoyed the gameplay experience, but some parts of the game need improvement, the controls are confusing for example when operating cranes!
The game is great i like the textures, the tire marks on the ground and the effects of the mud or water when crossing a puddle or river and the dirt on the vehicles, it's incredible!
The controls are confusing, it takes a while to get used
The driver does not move, he remains static
Loads must be carried manually and strapped
No photo mode!

Okay, so I've NOT recommended this game for one simple reason, Accepting Ts&Cs is one thing, but being forced to allow Data Collection to play online is disgusting, I am more than happy to accept your Ts&Cs but I am NOT happy for you to collect my data & I shouldn't have to be forced into to play online.
The game itself is great, I played the demo for quite sometime & it was that which made me want to buy on release, however, at NO point was it ever mentioned by the developers that you wouldn't be able to use their online services unless you accepted Data Collection, how this is legal I don't know, but for that reason alone I cannot recommend this game as I find holding back parts of a game that without making it very clear before purchase & that you've paid hard working money but not prepared to allow a company to data farm your personal information is outright disgusting..
I would just like to point out the game is Great, it looks & plays fantastically well for an SimCade (if you can even call it that) & I will continue to play this game in OFFLINE mode ONLY (Single Player Campaign), so please don't look at the extra playtime hours & assume I've ignored my own complaint & continued anyway, this game CAN be played without accepting Data Collection OFFLINE, but you MUST accept it to play ONLINE :|:(>_<):|:

It's not Snowrunner , it's Roadcraft...
Now i have played it for 10 hours i can say the game is fantastic once you get the hang of the controls , it is worth pushing through and learning imo.
