Totally recommend this game its a great spiderman experience, the obvious downfall is the short story mode and perhaps the amount of repetitive secondary missions all over the map. Nevertheless, I strongly encourage anybody that finds this game in a good deal to get it an enjoy it

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an exhilarating sequel that builds on the success of 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man while carving out its own identity with a fresh protagonist and a story that is both personal and action-packed. Developed by Insomniac Games, this title doesn’t just offer another web-slinging adventure; it’s a heartfelt journey that brings a new dimension to the Spider-Man universe, blending spectacular gameplay with emotional depth.

Right from the start, the game introduces us to Miles Morales, a teenager who’s stepping into the role of Spider-Man after the events of the first game. This narrative shift is crucial, as Miles’ story isn’t just about inheriting the mantle—it’s about understanding what it means to be a hero while navigating the challenges of being a young man in a big city. The game strikes a perfect balance between Miles’ personal struggles and his larger-than-life heroics. He faces unique challenges, from his relationship with his family to his growing powers and the weight of responsibility that comes with them. The result is a story that’s both intimate and epic, with an emotional resonance that’s hard to ignore.

The gameplay is where Miles Morales truly shines. Building on the fluid, fast-paced mechanics of the previous Spider-Man game, Insomniac has made some key improvements. Miles’ powers are more dynamic and diverse, giving players a fresh and exciting experience. His electric “venom” powers are a standout feature, allowing for electrifying takedowns and combat strategies. The addition of invisibility further enhances Miles’ tactical options, enabling stealthy approaches in situations where you might otherwise need to go in swinging. These powers feel integral to his character and add a whole new layer to the already-fantastic combat system.

The open-world gameplay in Miles Morales is equally engaging. New York City feels more alive than ever, with new locations, seasonal changes, and side activities that make swinging through the streets as thrilling as ever. The game also introduces a fresh take on the “district activities,” with more personal touches, such as helping citizens, finding collectibles, and taking on challenges that tie back to Miles’ journey. While the core gameplay remains familiar to Spider-Man fans, the changes and additions keep things exciting, allowing Miles to shine as his own Spider-Man.

Visually, Miles Morales is stunning. The winter setting, with snow-covered streets and festive holiday decorations, adds a unique atmosphere to the game. The lighting effects, particularly during combat and cutscenes, are breathtaking, with each swing through the city or electrified punch offering a feast for the eyes. The upgraded PS5 version is especially impressive, showcasing fast load times, smoother frame rates, and a level of detail that makes the world feel truly immersive.

One of the most endearing aspects of Miles Morales is its music and sound design. The soundtrack, filled with hip-hop beats and vibrant tracks, perfectly matches Miles’ personality and the youthful energy of his Spider-Man. The voice acting is stellar, with Nadji Jeter delivering a remarkable performance as Miles, capturing his vulnerability, humor, and determination in equal measure. The supporting cast, including the always-fantastic Yuri Lowenthal as Peter Parker and a strong lineup of new characters, helps make the world feel lived-in and rich with story.

While the game is relatively shorter than its predecessor—clocking in at around 10-15 hours for the main story—the compact nature of the narrative actually works in its favor. The pacing is tight, and every mission feels purposeful, ensuring that no moment is wasted. The emotional beats hit just as hard in the final act as they do in the early moments, and the conclusion leaves you with a sense of fulfillment that makes you want to replay and explore even more.

If there’s any criticism to be made, it’s that some of the side missions and activities can feel somewhat repetitive. But these are minor complaints in a game that offers so much else. The story, the action, the characters—all come together to make Miles Morales an experience that stands on its own, distinct from Peter Parker’s journey, yet still undeniably Spider-Man.

In the end, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a perfect blend of heart-pounding action, emotional storytelling, and a deep connection to the Spider-Man legacy. It successfully proves that Miles Morales isn’t just a side character or a replacement—he’s his own Spider-Man, with his own story to tell. Insomniac has crafted a game that is both a love letter to Spider-Man fans and a perfect introduction to those who are new to Miles. It’s a fantastic follow-up to Marvel’s Spider-Man and a must-play for any superhero fan.

This game is basically the Spider-Man Remastered but worse in every way, the story is extremely boring and short, the new powers Milles have make him too overpower, wich turns all the combat and stealth of the game extremely easy, even on ultimate difficulty, I'm conviced the devs made the cringiest cutscenes unskipable on purpose. The only good mechanic of the game is it traversal, wich is just a re-skin of the previous game swing mechanics.

Very good game just a really short story, fun to swing around and even for my PC not having good graphics it has only crashed twice so far and it's still really fun to play even after completing the story!

The story is good and the achievements are fun to get.

It feels like a DLC to the last game because it was short and the gameplay was essentially the same, but I think I enjoyed the story and the combat because of miles' venom skills.
