Some parts are better than the previous game, some parts are worse than the previous game and some parts are better than having sex (motorcycle part)

One of my favorite game franchises to 100% and I have to say that it was very fun despite some of my difficulty.
If you plan to 100%

7/10
After playing the first Ghostrunner, I was thrilled when the second game was announced—and it definitely delivered. Ghostrunner 2 continues the story from the original, so I highly recommend playing the first game before jumping into this one to get the full experience. The developers introduced some meaningful changes this time around, like a skill system overhaul, a home base hub, and
outdoor
environments you eventually reach. It felt just the right amount of new and refreshing without losing the fast-paced, intense spirit that made the first game special. It’s not just a copy-paste sequel, which I really appreciated. That said, the main downside is the length. Without any story-expanding DLC available yet, the game feels quite short. I still love this style of gameplay and had a blast while it lasted, but it left me wanting more. In conclusion, I highly recommend Ghostrunner 2—especially if you enjoyed the first one—but I would suggest picking it up on sale given the relatively short runtime. It’s a fantastic, stylish experience that’s absolutely worth playing.
Ghostrunner 2 introduces new ideas and improves upon the old ones, making this already high-paced, adrenaline-fueled one-hit-kill FPS even more challenging and fun. The new bike sections are fantastic and bring something fresh to the gameplay, but the open world feels lackluster and empty. I hope that Ghostrunner 3, if it ever sees the light of day, will enhance the open world aspect while maintaining the overall feel of the game.
It still demands the reflexes of a speedrunner, the skill of a no-hitter, and the patience of a Buddhist monk. The difficulty might be too much for some players, but if you enjoy this kind of challenge, you'll find an exhilarating adrenaline rush here.

this is also an absolutely incredible game just like Ghostrunner one. However, I don’t feel it replicates the same feeling and cohesion that the first game had. I do appreciate how they made game distinct from Ghostrunner one, even though it doomed this game to live in Ghostrunner’s shadow.
It’s still an absolutely amazing game the little roguelite mini game could honestly be a whole game on its own if you created some sort of progression or boss or something. And this game has more content than the first game.

Not so good as a first game but still nice
Addition of a Hub between missions kinda ruined pace for me, it literaly serves no purpose

I'll be honest, this game felt more like a chore to play than fun.
The performance isn't great, and as usual the devs expect DLSS to optimize their shit for them but it just makes everything blurry. The graphics feel, I don't know, more generic now? If that makes sense? Like more plastic-y. I think the first Ghostunner looked way better.
The game also feels way slower now. In the first Ghostrunner the action never really stopped, even when transitioning between levels, and even when there was calm. Ghostrunner 2 puts you in a hub between missions, where you talk to the NPCs, buy upgrades with credits (in-game credits, not real money)... and that's... that's it.
And speaking of upgrades, it just feels bad. You just purchase them at a terminal and apply them, that's it.
You also must apply them per category, so one line is for the Sword, one line is for the Shurikens, one line is for Dashing etc.
In the first Ghostrunner it was more like a puzzle, like a game mechanic. You pieced the upgrades together and got them as you went thru the game, no need for terminals or anything.
Story, wasn't the greatest in the first game but enjoyable enough. In Ghostrunner 2 I just couldn't really care for the characters or anything, especially after you get out of the tower where I quit playing.
The outside area looks and feels boring, the bike doesn't feel great to drive either in my opinion. I wanna parkour around cool areas in the tower, not bike around in a desert.

Even after a year its still not optimized and the story is slightly worse after the first Ghostrunner. Gameplay same, bike meh. So probably 6/10. Just play first one and forget this has sequel.
